Why He Came to America

This is Ethan and I have figured out why Davis move to America. In his journal and audio recorder he wrote that there were many reasons that he immigrated but, many of the things he emphasized is that he came to New York because of the prosperity. He loved the creature comforts that came from hard work, and he could work hard. The feeling of risk-reward that came of the stock market excited him. He had powerful friends and like to be in the center of the action. He wanted to escape from poverty. Sojourner liked the feeling of money, though not much, in his pocket.
