The Future

Hello, this is Davis. What lies in the future? I think that's a huge question. What will I be doing in a few years? Well first of all, I'm going to get a better house and maybe some comforts. I'll probably find a wife and continue the Sojourner family tree with some children.  Esperanza will always be my friend. I think I could bring over my family if I save enough money. The article I write is gaining popularity. It will make me a rich man. Funny, before I came I thought that after you immigrate you arive in a shining city, paved in gold. I thought that money would pour into your hands, that you everyone was rich. I thought that I could live in a big fancy house after a few months. I was wrong. Surviving in the city takes hard work especially since there's always another poor man waiting to take your job. It's like surviving in the jungle. The strongest or cleverest animal always wins.
