My Opinion of it All

Hello everybody, this is Ethan. There is an ongoing debate of urban vs. rural life styles, and I think I should put in my own thoughts with the help of the journal of Davis. Obviously, the urban areas are more luxurious and prosperous with technology and tools to make life easy. Unfortunately, there is a giant imbalance of population, and this has led to pollution and other problems. You could say that all the technological advancements are building walls between people, and instead of having a real conversation people are busy updating their Facebook profile or something. Urban areas on the other hand, though deprived of luxury, is more peaceful, kind, and a slow life. The nature all around is beautiful, and there isn't as much pollution. It all comes down to your own which one is better because the rural areas could be named as "boring". I think that we just need to strike a perfect balance of rural and urban, but for now the urban areas offer more opportunities so the urban areas can be better if not over crowded too badly. Is the urban always better though? No, and even though rural areas are poor because of the lack of resources, the grass isn't always greener on the other side.
